Tubular Reactor Unit Loading

It is important that during operation at normal working pressure in the reactor, the gas velocity in all of the tubes is as uniform as possible. To achieve this, all of the tubes must be equally and uniformly filled. To satisfy the varying requirements of its customers, Catalyst Services employs carousel and parallel type loading systems. The loading systems are designed to load reactor tubes in a specific time with a measured quantity of catalyst. The type used depends mainly on the type of reactor to be loaded or the type of catalyst to be loaded and can be used both outside and inside a reactor. All equipment is critically monitored during operation and thoroughly inspected after each use, and, where necessary, modifications are introduced to improve performance even further.

With a combination of advanced equipment, experience, and highly trained employees, Catalyst Services has a strong commitment to safety and provides effective job performance even in the most hostile environments. In the event that a situation should occur which requires the removal of a worker from inside the vessel or off the structure, we have a variety of rescue equipment to provide a fast, safe, and effective way of responding.

We place the highest priority on the training of personnel not only in the safe operating and maintenance of our equipment, but also in vessel rescue and the use of our different air systems. All employees are provided with training in a number of government sanctioned safety and awareness courses such as CPR, WHMIS, Standard First Aid and H2S Alive, just to name a few. Along with this external training, employees are required to take a number of our in-house job related computer based training courses.
